For conditions such as edema and chronic venous insufficiency, clinicians often recommend elevating the lower legs to a height that is above the heart when lying in a supine position. Until now, elevating the legs to this height was a challenging task often addressed with improvised approaches, using materials such as pillows, sofa cushions or blankets. These materials lack the necessary therapeutic qualities for adequate pressure redistribution and an acceptable level of comfort. Improvised approaches often result in poor compliance to leg elevation protocols due to their inconvenience, instability or discomfort. Warranty:
This warranty applies only to defects in structure, workmanship and materials and only to damages arising from normal hospital usage on a non-prorated basis for a period of three (3) years for reusable models from the date of purchase. Damages arising from abnormal use such as those caused by needle punctures, burns, chemicals, negligent use or improper care or cleaning are excluded from coverage. Manufacturer will pay shipping charges incurred in connection with this warranty during the first year, thereafter, those charges are the facilities' or dealer's sole responsibility.
